Previously based in South Africa, Carilyn has lived and worked in the UK for the past four years. Ken currently serves as President and CEO of Longleaf Properties LLC, a NC real estate investment and development company. Concurrently, he serves as Managing Member of WRD Investments LLC, an operating investment entity in real estate, hospitality, and tourism businesses. He is a seasoned business leader, developer, and Board member having held positions ranging from senior HR Executive in Fortune 100 companies to serving as President of a $1.5Bn public business. Ken has extensive Board experience having served in a wide array of Non-Executive roles ranging from trusteeship to public board service, with experience on over 40 Boards in the US, Canada and six countries in Europe.

She has been an Advisor to Vaclav Havel's Forum 2000 Foundation, UNICEF and Anglo American University, and currently mentors displaced Ukraine professionals.
